BLUUM MAISON Favourites Cinnamon Bourbon Smash Cocktail Recipe

Cinnamon Smash Bourbon Recipe

Hosting a dinner party can be a lot of work, from planning the menu to set the perfect ambiance.

But before you start planning your next dinner party, let me share a funny hosting story with you.

A few years ago, I decided to host a dinner party for some friends. I spent weeks planning the menu, cleaning the house, and setting the table just right. I was confident that everything would go smoothly, and that my guests would be impressed with my hosting skills.

But as soon as my guests arrived, things started to go awry. One of my friends spilled red wine on my white tablecloth, and another accidentally knocked over a vase of flowers. I tried my best to remain calm and collected, but inside, I was freaking out.

To make matters worse, the dish I had spent hours preparing didn't turn out as I had hoped. It was overcooked and dry. I felt embarrassed and disappointed that I had put so much effort into the meal, only to have it turn out poorly.

But despite the mishaps, we all had a good laugh about the evening. We joked about the wine spill and the failed dish, and my friends even offered to help clean up. It was a reminder that even the most well-planned get-togethers can have hiccups, and that's okay. The most important thing is to enjoy the company of your friends and family and make memories together.

So when you're planning your next dinner party, don't get too caught up in the details. Remember that the purpose of the gathering is to spend time with loved ones, enjoy good food and drink, and have fun. And with the addition of a signature cocktail like the Cinnamon Smash Bourbon, you're sure to create an extra special and memorable evening.

This delicious cocktail recipe comes straight from the kitchen of Executive Chef Crystal Powell of Kanvas. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a fall-inspired drink that will be a hit with your guests. And if you're not hosting in the fall, don't worry, you can still enjoy this tasty beverage all year round. We sure do!

To make the Cinnamon Smash Bourbon, you'll need bourbon whisky, orange juice, maple cinnamon syrup, orange bitters, sliced oranges, rosemary, and cinnamon spice. Combine the bourbon whisky, orange juice, bitters, and syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Rim your chilled old-fashioned glass with orange and cinnamon spice, then add two pieces of ice and pour in your cocktail mixture. Top it off with a torched rosemary sprig and a thin slice of orange for a beautiful presentation.

Not only is this cocktail delicious, but it's also easy to make, which means you can spend more time enjoying the party and less time in the kitchen. Plus, your guests will appreciate the extra effort you put into creating a unique and personalized experience.

If you want to take your presentation to the next level, consider pairing your signature cocktails with our Modern Black Candle & Cloth Set.

So go ahead and give this recipe a try at your next dinner party, and don't forget to let me know how it goes over on Insta! With a little creativity and effort, you can create a memorable gathering that your guests will be talking about for weeks to come - trust me!
