Ingredients for the Whipped Feta, Honey and Pistachio Dip
Feta Cheese: I like to use a good quality feta cheese for this recipe. If you can find it, I recommend using sheep’s milk feta as it has a richer flavor.
Cream Cheese: This adds creaminess and body to the dip. You could also use mascarpone cheese if you want an even richer dip. Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature to ensure it's easy to blend and creates a smooth dip
Lemon: The lemon zest lightens the taste of the cheese.
Garlic: For the garlic lovers you can use more than 1/2 a teaspoon or less depending on your taste. If you’re not a fan of garlic, you could leave it out altogether.
Olive Oil: This is used to thin out the dip and make it easier to spread. You could also use melted butter if you prefer.
Honey: I like to use a good quality honey for this recipe as it really adds depth of flavor. If you’re not a fan of honey, you could also use agave nectar or maple syrup.
